Dubai Municipality is one of the oldest and by far the largest organization established by the Dubai government, initially it was only responsible for the cleanliness, health, environment and architectural aspects of the region, later on it was entrusted with business services such as international affairs, partnership sectors, general support sector, planning & engineering sector & corporate support sector also it has widened its scope with regards to environment and health by undertaking environment health & safety control sector and environmental & public health sector.
Business activities which are associated with public health & safety, environment, food & veterinary are required to take NOC/permits from Dubai Municipality prior to issuance of license from the respective department.
